TCT 2012 - Edited Taped Case Presentation : High Output Fistula Between Ascending Aortic and Right Atrium
This research project aims to propose a model and / or tool for decision-making processes diagnostic in interventional vascular medicine. To aid this diagnosis, we will build a graphical interface that will use a three-dimensional stereoscopic volumetric reconstruction of the coronary and the left ventricle from the conventional angiographic images (2D).
It is in view, we present this project because we want to associate CINEMA 3D stereoscopy (S3D) and computer graphics (CG), for the reconstruction of a 3D geometric model of Cardiac Muscle, including the entire circulatory system in order to provide a tool to aid in decision making for diagnoses in Hemodynamics and a novel therapeutic and imaging technology in coronary, peripheral, or structural heart disease intervention.
For this purpose, we will divide our project into two sub-projects that call for solutions:
Solution 1: Cinema stereoscopic 3D in interventional cardiovascular
Solution 2: Transmission of interventional cardiovascular procedures S3D in real time
We will present each of the solutions as sub-projects, a priori, independent, with specific goals for each solution. In fact, each solution may be a product that will meet the financial needs of the Project, during the execution of the Project. We also propose a “Patent” for each solution.
A strategy will be adopted so that each solution in order to walk in parallel to achieve the main goal is to make a tool to aid in decision making in diagnostic cardiology through three-dimensional stereoscopic images.
