Edited Taped Case Presentation: 3D Virtual Reality Cardiovascular Procedure
3D Cinema : TCT 2015
This research project aims to propose a model and / or tool for decision-making processes diagnostic in interventional vascular medicine. To aid this diagnosis, we will build a graphical interface that will use a three-dimensional stereoscopic volumetric reconstruction of the coronary and the left ventricle from the conventional angiographic images (2D).
It is in view, we present this project because we want to associate CINEMA 3D stereoscopy (S3D) and computer graphics (CG), for the reconstruction of a 3D geometric model of Cardiac Muscle, including the entire circulatory system in order to provide a tool to aid in decision making for diagnoses in Hemodynamics and a novel therapeutic and imaging technology in coronary, peripheral, or structural heart disease intervention.
A strategy will be adopted so that solution in order to walk in parallel to achieve the main goal is to make a tool to aid in decision making in diagnostic cardio logy through three-dimensional st ereoscopic images.
Each of these videos cinema stereoscopic 3D (S3D) will be integrated into models in computer graphics (CG) of the heart and circulatory system carried out by software such as Maya.
In the specific case of interventional vascular medicine, this video S3D will aim to present the actions of the surgeon, live imaging captured from fluoroscopy and heart model CG in their angiographic projection all in "relief".
